Rednal are hosting two Track Days 18th & 19th of July £50.00 per day, weather permitting the off road will be run as well.

Please book in with Rednal not Southern Supermoto as they are running the two days not ourselves.

The British Masters Round run by Scottish Supermoto at Rowrah 25/26 May 2013 has been cancelled, however all other Rounds will run as scheduled.

The 2013 Southern Supermoto and The British Masters!

I can confirm we will be running the SSM and the British Masters this year.

BUT we have several major concerns , firstly we don’t want to cancel a meeting or the series due to lack of numbers after you guys have joined the club and got your AMCA licence, this is very much on our minds, but it is also very much down to you guys to support the series throughout the year.

Secondly Scottish Supermoto numbers have also dropped off this year and that will also have an effect on the series.

Please remember if we commit to this year and numbers drop off and we have to end the series there will be no refunds available for licences or memberships.

On the upside we are slightly up on memberships from last year, but just because we are up on memberships this does not necessarily mean we will be up on entry’s.

We have looked at the memberships in to date, and it is still very tight to run this year, but we feel that the support we have received and the encouragement from the riders that have joined we have decided to proceed.

The budget is small for this year and we have decided to make some savings where we can, one area would be trophy’s, these now will only go down to fifth place over a two day meeting.

Riders who have not got their own transponder will be charged a fee of 10.00 for the first day and 5.00 for the second, also riders who do not book in for racing by the date stated, but just turn up on the day will also be charged 10.00 late booking fee, hopefully these measures will save and generate funds for the club.

The new Season will be shortly upon us, I don't wish to be a nag but if riders do not get their Memberships in shortly we will be forced to finish the season before it has even started, the decision is yours.

You must have joined either Scottish Supermoto or Southern Supermoto before applying for the AMCA Licence, once you have become a member of the Scottish Supermoto or Southern Supermoto we will notify the AMCA that you have joined and they will release your new 2013 AMCA licence.

You must join either Scottish Supermoto or Southern Supermoto before applying for the AMCA Licences.

Once you have sent back your Scottish Supermoto or Southern Supermoto Membership form, Please apply for your new / first AMCA Supermoto licence.

Supermoto Track Day

November track day with dirt at Lydd on 25th November, the cost is £50 per rider. All riders please and must be booked in by 1st November, the minimum number is 20 riders to open the track. Please support us at Lydd, if this is a success there will be another track day in December.

Rednal final Round and Presentation 2012 British Masters/Southern Supermoto 27th/28th October

Please could all Southern and Masters riders please book in early for the final round of 2012 as we have the presentation for both series on Saturday 27th October at Rednal in there new Building, we have a Hog Roast and Bar arranged so we have to have some idea of numbers attending. Please could all Southern riders complete this voting form.

Sunday 28th we will be having the Scotland v England team event as well as some fun races this I am sure will be a great day and a fantastic way to end the season. This last Round is open to none members. Steve & Jan. Please Book in Early 01722 711326.

Looking ahead to 2013 After the success of this years British Masters, Scottish and Southern Supermoto have decided to continue with the series in 2013 with new venues planed.We hope to run through out the country holding two day events to save on travelling expenses.If new sponsors are found to support the series all proceeds will go back to the clubs and riders. A full fixture table for 2013 will be announced as soon as the venues and dates are confirmed.

Important Announcement!

Southern/Masters+ Presentation+ England v Scotland Weekend!

Due to Lack of Southern Riders attending the last meeting at Lydd, we feel that it is unlikely we would have enough riders to make it finically viable to run the meeting planed in October.

With this in mind we have moved the Rednal Date from the 22/23 September to the 27/28 October, this will be a Masters and Southern Round with a presentation held at Rednal in their new Building. A Bar and Hog Roast has been arranged.

The Presentation will be on the Saturday Evening with this in mind we purpose to start later on the Sunday with the England v Scotland Team Event and Fun Races or Track Time which ever the Riders prefer. This meeting is open to all please contact us as soon as poss so we can calculate numbers for the Hog Roast and Presentation, we hope we can count on your support, and look forward to seeing you all, on what will be a Fantastic Weekend.

Announcement!

SSM / British Masters are now running a under 16’s Supermoto class. So if you or your children want to start racing with SSM / British Masters at a reduced price please contact us via email or call Steve and Jan on 01722 711326. The next round is at Lydd 21/22 July 2012.

Please Note- This class will not be run at Crail. All bike under 250CC only. This is subject to numbers, we need min of 8-10 riders to run this class:-)

Lorry Rental

Hi All,

As most of you know, we have a British Masters have a round at Crail which is not a stones throw away, but SSM needs to show support for this.

SSM are thinking about renting a Lorry to take all bikes/kit up to Crail, there would be pickup points where you will need to get your bikes/kit to, and the Lorry would drive up and park in a safe place ready for the weekend.

If you are interested in this, please can you email me back, and once I have the numbers we can work out the costs. I will also need to know the amount of bikes you would like to send.

Once we have the cost for the lorry rental I will email you back asking for a deposit and with more information.
