Lorry Rental

Hi All,

As most of you know, we have a British Masters have a round at Crail which is not a stones throw away, but SSM needs to show support for this.

SSM are thinking about renting a Lorry to take all bikes/kit up to Crail, there would be pickup points where you will need to get your bikes/kit to, and the Lorry would drive up and park in a safe place ready for the weekend.

If you are interested in this, please can you email me back, and once I have the numbers we can work out the costs. I will also need to know the amount of bikes you would like to send.

Once we have the cost for the lorry rental I will email you back asking for a deposit and with more information.

Kind regards

Kim

About the club

Southern Supermoto was first formed in 2004 by Steve & Jan Berry to facilitate the increasing demand from riders for racing in the south, and hosted their first meeting at Bordon in Hampshire. Classes at that time also included Quads and Youth riders who were on smaller capacity machines.

The club grew from a humble 50 members to nearly 175 in 2005-2006 with often two groups of Novice and Inter Riders. 2006 Southern through down the gauntlet to Nora in the North v South challenge at Silverstone, Southern was seen to be the under dog but came away victorious with six out of ten wins.

The club over the years has tried a mixture of venues from Norfolk Arena to Dale in West Wales and are always looking for new and exciting venues.

In 2007 the club started a new relationship with the AMCA to whom we still affiliate to this day, with the introduction of  recorded timed laps and racing (Transponders) we can place riders more accurately into the correct group.

With the financial climate taking a turn for the worst in 2010 the club decided not to run as rider numbers were down and venues and circuits also looking uncertain. 2011 the club was back through popular demand and set about the season with more than the usual enthusiasm.

We are sure that the 2012 Season we be just as passionate as all the previous ones, with two new sponsors on board for this year (Battery Energy Drinks and Golden Tyre) it is hopefully a step in the wright direction for the sport and you, the riders.

The clubs main emphasis is to run a  friendly and professional series and to promote the Sport at all levels, and to run a Championship for all classes. The Club is what it says, a Club, not a business and we always have the riders best interest at heart.
Steve & Jan and the SSM team.
